A travel-sized take on the classic strategy game, packed into a magnetic tin that keeps the pieces where humans rather inconveniently expect them to stay.
The Purple Cow Magnetic Backgammon brings traditional backgammon into a compact format designed for play on the move. The magnetic counters stay securely on the board while the tin itself becomes the playing surface, making it ideal for road trips, flights, cafés and holidays.
The aim remains beautifully simple: move your pieces home and be the first player to bear them off. Small enough to throw into a bag, but strategic enough to keep two players occupied considerably longer than scrolling through their phones.

By San Sebastian is an independent family-owned fashion, footwear, kids and gift store in Coogee, Sydney.
We’re Kate and Joff, and we opened this little shop by the beach in 2006. Since then, it’s grown into a local institution filled with the things we genuinely love: women’s and men’s clothing, footwear, kids and baby, gifts, homewares, accessories and a carefully curated mix of Australian and international brands.
We believe in quality, comfort, great service and keeping retail personal in a world that’s becoming increasingly automated.
You’ll find us at 220 Coogee Bay Road, Coogee NSW 2034, serving Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs in-store and customers across Australia online.
If you’re in Coogee, come in for a browse and a chat. If you’re online, welcome to our digital dressing room.
