A tiny vampire in drink form, because apparently Halloween refreshments also needed a backstory.
Amuseables Vampop Drink is a wonderfully theatrical Jellycat character with a deep red plush cup, soft cream top, striped straw and a slice of orange perched above a pair of little black bat wings. Add tiny fangs, black feet and a mildly mischievous expression, and you get a character that feels equal parts spooky, silly and strangely sophisticated.
Jellycat’s own story gives Vampop a suitably dramatic life beyond the shelf. When Halloween approaches, he apparently deals with the pressure by throwing himself into music, learning the organ and eventually ending a centuries-old feud with Amuseables Garlic through an unlikely duet. Completely reasonable behaviour for a plush drink.
